From team headquarters at the Hotel Hilton Colón in Guayaquíl, Ecuador from where Caracas FC will later travel to the dizzier heights of Cuenca on match-day Thursday, news comes of a change in the kick off time for the last 16 Copa Santander Libertadores first leg clash between the Reds and Deportivo Cuenca.

Instead of a 3.50pm Venezuela time start, the teams will now kick off at 4.30pm Caracas time.

This is due to a decision to postpone the matchup between Defensor Sporting of Uruguay and Argentina’s Boca Juniors with it proving impossible to use the Centenario de Montevideo stadium this coming Thursday.
 
Caracas will be training behind closed doors on Wednesday at around 4pm Ecuador time in the Estadio Monumental.
