Dr Guillermo Valentiner in life-time achievement awards

During the unveiling of the new 2007-2008 football season, the Venezuelan Football Federation took the opportunity to pay tribute to Caracas FC president Dr. Guillermo Valentiner for a life-time spent behind the scenes of Venezuelan football with his continued active presence in the game helping the sport make important inroads in this country.
Dr Valentiner was awarded with both Orders of Merit for Venezuelan Football and South American Football by FVF president Rafael Esquivel as a reminder of the many years of hard work spent at the helm of Caracas FC, a team whose success on the field has helped develop the game in Venezuela.
The well-deserved awards go to a passionate, responsible and serious man whose often ground-breaking efforts have been part of a life-time’s work dedicated towards the overall development of sport in Venezuela.
Thanks to this work ethic and dedication, Caracas FC are today the country’s number one team as well as being the side to have done most with regard to putting Venezuela well and truly on the South American football map.
Congratulations go to Dr. Guillermo Valentiner for this well-earned tribute arriving at such an important moment for Venezuelan football with the start of the new 2007-2008 season just days away.
